SPRING FASHION 2009

I know fashion week for spring 2009 was during OCT. 2008 but if I would have reviewed back than would you have remembered anything I said now uhhh no.....So I just saved my little notes...

With the economy the way it is I wasnt sure really what to expect during fashion week.So I was actually quit surprised when I was loolking through countless designers spring looks. A lot of the designs were pretty wearable some people say they kept it safe, but I dont see anything wrong with that..

Wearable spring fashions TIPS

• Of course COLOR COLOR COLOR many designers went for pinks, yellows, bright blues etc.


• PRETTY PRINTS on dresses and on tops


• ETHNIC PRINTS not just big chunky jewelry


• PANTS their was everything skinny jeans still in, wide leg and crops, I seen jumpsuits which are not for everyone , but hey if you can pull them off good for you....


• CHEAP CHIC is definatly in this spring with many designers branching off to do less expensive lines

Now I know not everyone has the money to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe for spring, but im sure if you guys just dig a little in your closet you'll find that you already own some of these pieces sooo as TIM GUNN would say "JUST MAKE IT WORK........"

GOT OFF EARLY TODAY.....

So guess wut I did.... I went shopping jux to clear my head I went to the mall and before I went I promised myself I would not go into MAC, but on my way out I jux happened to past by the MAC store I stood in front wanting to go in. But I did not want to lose to temptation than I saw the HELLO KITTY brush set on the window which I have been wondering whether or not I should buy it, So I went in walked up to the counter asked for the brush set and the lady told me they were SOLD OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH...So I jux bought some other things...I knew I should have bought it before ugh oh well, so this is wut I got.....

Than I also went to ULTA CUZ I jux havn't been in hella long and I got these make up brushes that were so freaken soft there called ECOTOOLS which the handles are made of bamboo and have synthetic Taklon bristles which are 100% cruelty free.....I was soo surprised by how soft they were. the foundation brush was 7.99 and the rest were in a pack for 18.99

And finally I got the travel straightner set cuz I hate traveling with my other straightner cuz it works relly good so im always afraid its going to break it this straightner was only 29.99 great deal its a 1 inch which ive been wanting since summer is coming up to make beach wavy hair....

Look for less

So i've been wanting to start doing A look for less like once every week cuz jux like everyone else I like a good bargain so I found one today that was already done from the Tyra's blog but for the most part i'll be creating my own this one was just sooo cute yet its so simple it is from Lauran Conrads spring 2009 line

The black skirt I actually have from old navy I bought it on clearance for only $3.....

DESIGNERS FOR LESS

I was catching up with whats new in the fashion world since it is fashion week and I ran into this desigers like alice+olivia, Lela Rose and ABAETE made an affordable line of purses and shoes for payless.. I dont know where I have been busy I guess that I did not know this......This is soooo FABULOUS especially with money being so tight for many people even fashionistas, designers had to start thinking out of the box.What do you guys think??????

HEY EVERYONE Hope you guys had a wonderful valentines day!!!! My started late cuz my hubby didnt get home til like 10 pm(cuz he works in dublin) soooo we jux went to TEX WASABI for some sushi mmmmmm!! So I didnt know whether or not to expect a gift so when he got home he was like oh I forgot to get somethin so I thought he was goin to run to the liquer store and jux grab anything so I was wut the hell I cant believe he didnt get me anything sooo I open the door and their he is standing with a COACH PURSE :)

SO I absolutly luv cuz it can be my everyday bag my other one was kind of falling apart lol fits everything a girl needs her digital camera, cell phone,wallet and make up bag

SOOO today I went on a mini spree at MAC now as you guys know im not one to spend my whole paycheck on expensive make up but ive been working my ass off so I needed to splurge a little... you know......So of course i had to buy something from the HELLO KITTY COLLECTION I had gone to the preview they had but I didnt buy anything cuz the line was fricken ridicoulous so I jux saw wut they had.. anywho sooo when I went I dont know if it was jux me But some of the colors were not wut I thought they were going to be so I jux got like 4 things from my wish list list which was origionally like 10 things lol so this is wut I got

And for the first time I also got studio sculpt foundation and MAC prep & prime and DAINTY mineralize blush

WHAO I look crazy not the greatest picture but I have on TIPPY blush and STRAYIN lipstick jux a lil swatch

SO I was browsing through MAC future collections and the SUGARSWEET collection really caught my eye so if you didnt spend all ur money on the HELLO KITTY collection this is also one u might like.......
