County Fair Fun

The Sacramento County Fair rolled into town over the weekend. We haven't been to any fair I think since Jon was about 5 years old. We went Saturday evening, since getting out the door early Saturday was impossible and it was about 100 degrees in the afternoon. We had a lot of fun! I like walking around the fair, meanwhile the kids wanted to run straight for the games and rides. Jon loves the thrill from the rides, my niece who also went with us not so much. She doesn't like the way your stomach feels likes its in your mouth from going up high than low. Jon did convince her to go on one scary ride though, the one where you get into the cages and spin round and round. Since I am on a weight loss journey I stayed very far away from the food, but it boy did it smell soooo yummy. As you can imagine they had fried everything.  It was the perfect way to spend a Saturday evening.
